This is kind of an odd problem that I've never seen here before. I use Photoshop CS2. Somehow, I don't know how, I managed to mess up my save dialog box and now it's huge. There is no minimize button to make it smaller, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of a keyboard combination that will get it to go back to it's regular size because this huge size is really annoying. The dialog box to open a file is huge as well. Thank you for any help. |

My computer crashed, so I had to download KMPlayer again. I don't like the newer versions so I stick with the older ones, but when I downloaded it and began to play my DVD the sound was off. And what I mean by off is that the background music and sounds is louder than the people talking. How can I fix this? |

and should be your best friend too Note: This is how I blend. It's the only way I blend. I can't get blending to work by having both layers set to normal and by erasing the parts I don't want. I think it looks weird and the blending isn't smooth. I don't know how other people blend and if I once knew another way to blend, I don't know it anymore. In other words: this tutorial isn't the be all and end all to blending. Note: This isn't image heavy. ![]() ( ...billie piper banner blending and colouring tutorial... ) |

I'm new to Photoshop - just got it (CS3), and was totally excited about working with it, but then it turned out I can't get my brushes to work properly. They show up all right where they're supposed to, but colour-wise they're messed up. No matter what I do, they're all transparent, and brushes that I download from DeviantArt look nothing like they do there. Screenshot here. Example of a preset brush that came with the programme in the above picture, and a brush downloaded from DeviantArt in the one below. The DeviantArt brushes especially confuse me - why do they look like that? It's a santa hat like the ones I see in so many icons at the moment, why is this all screwed up? I'm sure the first problem at least has something to do with opacity, but I've used the Photoshop help and looked through old entries here, and I cannot for the life of me figure this out. Anyone? Bueller? Any help greatly appreciated! (I did read this post from the archives, but I'm not sure if it's the same problem that I'm having since it's PSP, and I didn't really understand how to solve it.) |

so im not sure if anyone here would know--but i know how to make sigs with animations on them and animated pics on them. my question is, is there anyway to make a sig with both an animation and animated pictures? last time i tried, the time of the animated pics and animation went at the same time :/ so like when the time slowed down for the pics, it slowed down for the animation too. Help?1 anyone :) |

I want to make an animated GIF but the screencaps I have are of poor quality. But when I change the coloring of one frame, I want it also to do the same to the other frames. (I opened the frames as layers) Is there a way to do that instead of coloring the caps one by one? I use Adobe Photoshop CS3 Thanks in advance! |

Alright, so I'm in Photoshop 7.0 working on an animation request for a different site. The animation is huge, at least 6 MB -and I have it all prepped and pretty. So, I go to Jump To > Image Ready 7.0, and I turn the layers into frame. I delete the frames with the background, border, text, and adjustments, leaving me just the animation part. Now, I want to make the background visible for the first frame. I click on the eye- And it doesn't become visible. Same with the border layer. However, the text and adjustments are allowed to toggle between visible and invisible. Is it because the file is freaking huge? Any thoughts, it's driving me mad? Screenshot can be provided.

**FINAL EDIT Thu Dec 10 02:15:47 UTC 2009** So there is the final update... Over the past day we have processed around 11 million jobs out of the 12 million that were in queue at that time. Please bear in mind that over this past day, more jobs for notifications are also created. So while the queue has been dropping, we are still not fully caught up at this point, due to backlog and new jobs. We have roughly 3 million jobs still pending that involve the notification system in some manner. We had hoped we could have fully cleared the queue in a day, but unfortunately we can't clear it too quickly, since we need the rest of the site to operate normally. From our current perspective on the amount of jobs that are left in queue, and how many it has processed thus far, we believe it will take around another 8 - 12 hours to process everything. And finally some answers to some questions: ( Read More and Get Some Answers... )

How can you do something like this? I see that it might be two images, with threshold applied to one of them. However, whenever I try threshold it never looks that nice. It always looks scratchy and it's never smooth. Can anyone direct me to a tutorial for this kind of effect? |

Hi everyone, I used to have this "guide to color layers" memmed at my journal. Unfortunately, the journal has been deleted, and I was wondering if anyone saved the entire jpeg image? ( Here is part of the picture ) Or, if anyone has other guides that resemble this, it would be of tremendous help! THANK YOU!!
